HWG Advocacy Day in Sacramento
Housing Working Group members will be coming together in Sacramento on April 23 to speak with legislators about the barriers their communities face in finding safe, stable, and affordable housing; the need for more equitable homeownership opportunities for communities of color; and the policy priorities necessary to address these concerns.
The Housing Working Group will also host a panel of housing experts for a luncheon discussion on the impact of exclusionary single-family zoning on communities of color and the path toward a more affordable and equitable California. The flier for the event is attached.
All Housing Workgroup members are invited to participate in this day. If you are interested in attending please complete the interest form by April 12.
California YIMBY is offering travel (airfare, train, and mileage) reimbursement for those who need it. Please register for the Day in Sacramento by April 5 if you would like a travel reimbursement (the sooner you book, the cheaper the tickets!).
