HWG Spotlights: Greenlining Institute, Unidos US
Earlier this week, the Greenlining Institute released their new Housing Platform outlining their priority strategies for addressing the housing needs of our communities and reversing the legacy of redlining. Esmeralda provided a brief overview of the educational briefing on Latino Homeownership & CalHFA that UnidosUS is hosting for legislative staff on March 9. UnidosUS provides regular counseling services to help community members achieve homeownership and build wealth. Housing working group members are welcome to attend but must RSVP in advance. Legislative Updates

SB 594 amends the registration process for LLCs to require that when the entity is created, the name of the owner or each person(s) with substantial control over the corporation is provided and published in the Business Registry maintained by the CA Secretary of State office, to increase transparency.
